We are an investor and incubator of scalable projects in emerging markets with a special focus on India. Our projects are underpinned by an established product, service or technology which is exported from the UK or Europe into India where there is a growing market for such products and services.
The fundamentals of the Indian economy are strong, diverse and stable and offer great opportunities. We have a distinct understanding of the dynamics of doing business in India, and have vital relationships with the government, private and public sectors.
We are currently setting up
Modulex, the world's largest steel modular buildings’ factory in India, which will enable us to roll out
Ecolodge, the world's first carbon neutral hotel chain, at a rapid pace across India where there is a huge shortage of hotel rooms. In addition,
Armaec, is an independent developer of rooftop solar plants and wind farms.
Our projects are structured in such a way that investors get a secure platform by investing in a UK company whose underlying activities are in the Indian economy. Some of our projects qualify for Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and other tax mitigation schemes for UK tax residents.
Set up in 2007 by Suchit Punnose, Red Ribbon is currently incubating projects with a total equity investment of £400 million.
